Since May 4th, post-hardcore legends Thrice have been on a nationwide farewell tour. Supporting them on this tour are Animals as Leaders and o’brother. On May 16th, their farewell tour rolled through Orlando’s House of Blues.
The night began with indie-post rock band o’brother. Over the past two years, o’brother has become one of my favorite touring bands. Their 30-minute set on this tour is equal parts loud and haunting, and their songs are complex, but subtly catchy. Their show included several songs from their new album, “Garden Window”.

The World Is Ours tour is bringing madness and mayhem to venues across the US. Co-headlined by Escape The Fate and Attack Attack, along with The Word Alive, Mest, and Secrets, fans couldn’t buy tickets fast enough! Earlier this week in Orlando at the House Of Blues, the tour drew hundreds of fans ready to rock out and have a good time. After a rather bland set from both Secrets and Mest, The Word Alive set the place on fire with hardcore breakdowns and melodic screams. With a special guest vocal appearance by Craig from ETF, Telle and crew got the crowd amped for the rest of the night. Attack Attack was up next, with a set decked out with more ramps and staircases than an arena rock concert. Read the rest of this entry
Rise Against is currently crisscrossing the US on the 2nd leg of their spring tour. Along with A Day To Remember and newcomers Title Fight opening the show, it was a hard rock and roll tropical paradise at the Green Iguana Stadium in Tampa.
