Transformers: Dark of the Moon – The Album CD Review
(Reprise Records)

Don’t you just dig a good soundtrack? Transformers: Dark of the Moon –  The Album is certainly quite diggable! A vast array of artists offer their talent up for the soundtrack for the newest Transformers movie! I, admittedly, haven’t seen the movie yet, but I sure have been digging on the tunes on this soundtrack! 11 tracks from a diverse group of veteran talent like Goo Goo Dolls, Theory of a Deadman and Mastodon (majorly old school) to newcomers, Black Veil Brides and Art of Dying! You get a couple of soundtrack mainstays like Paramore and Linkin Park, as well as a couple of my personal faves in My Chemical Romance and Skillet! So…there is something for everyone on this soundtrack! A full track listing is listed below, but my faves are, yes, of course, My Chemical Romance’s “The Only Hope for Me Is You” and Skillet’s “Awake and Alive”…but also Black Veil Brides’ “Set the World on Fire”, Art of Dying’s “Get Thru This”, and Goo Goo Dolls’ “All That You Are” (a new tune).  The album comes in 3 editions…a standard edition, an Itunes Deluxe Version and a Game Stop Version. If you purchase either the Itunes or Game Stop versions, you get some additional music!  I’ve got to say that the folks responsible for choosing the talent for this soundtrack have done a great job! If the movie is half as good as the soundtrack…I’ll really be psyched!  A great soundtrack to add to your collection!
